On September 12th 2019, the powerful dance performance Reclaiming the Goddess by Project Zahira / Dance Theater will premiere at Het Amsterdams Theaterhuis. The performance is in three parts and tells the story of choreographer Zahira Lieneke Mous, where the (re) winning of the own strength after a traumatic experience, is central. The choreographies, accompanied by specially composed cello music, give people comfort and courage, and are mainly focused on women empowerment. The production has an inspiring message, with healing and mutual understanding as a common thread.
