Dance performance Reclaiming the Goddess shows strong women and the power of healing

On September 12th 2019, the powerful dance performance Reclaiming the Goddess by Project Zahira / Dance Theater will premiere at Het Amsterdams Theaterhuis. The performance is in three parts and tells the story of choreographer Zahira Lieneke Mous, where the (re) winning of the own strength after a traumatic experience, is central. The choreographies, accompanied by specially composed cello music, give people comfort and courage, and are mainly focused on women empowerment. The production has an inspiring message, with healing and mutual understanding as a common thread.

Art The Hague 2019 put women in the spotlights

The seventh edition of Art The Hague will take place in The Hague from 2 to 6 October 2019. Young and renowned galleries from Belgium and the Netherlands present themselves at the fair. An important theme this year is the role of women in the art world. In the year of a hundred years of universal suffrage, women are still under-represented in art collections. With special attention to women in the arts, the fair wants to make a positive contribution to a better art climate in the Netherlands. Art The Hague is officially opened on October 2 at 6:30 pm by power woman Mirjam de Bl├ęcourt, employment lawyer, politician on behalf of the VVD and from Topvrouwen.nl.
